Reptiles of Gujarat Neelimkumar Khaire

Neelimkumar Khaire has spent more than 50 years in the field of reptile conservation and has been fascinated by snakes ever since he was 18 years old.

In 2018, he travelled to Gujarat to study its reptile fauna. During this visit, he realised there was no comprehensive pictorial guide to the reptiles of Gujarat. This need propelled him to put together a book that would be informative and useful. He put together a team and travelled 60,000 kilometres by road, across the length and breadth of Gujarat over an 18-month period.

This book is the result of several magical journeys across the wonderful biodiversity-rich state of Gujarat.
